Adriatic & Southern Italy — FAQ

Which of these ports are walkable from the ship?

Šibenik, Koper, Bari and Messina all put you within walking distance of the historic center. Zadar’s cruise port is a few kilometers out of town, and Hvar is usually a tender port.

Is Taormina far from Messina?

Taormina is roughly 45 minutes to an hour south of Messina by road, which makes it the most popular excursion from the port, often combined with a drive up the slopes of Etna.
